About Us
Established in August 2021.
WatchStop is owned and operated by two local brothers, Oscar and Marcus Petersen.
When we opened WatchStop, we were in the thick of the pandemic, or rather, at its mercy. Businesses were closing left and right, but we refused to let that stop us. We knew we had the right idea, and at the very least, people needed a reliable place to get their watch batteries replaced.
Now, years later, we have a business we’re truly proud of. We’ve continuously refined our services and, along the way, introduced new offerings you won’t find anywhere else. Our commitment to improvement has set a new standard of care, unmatched in Napier and Hawke’s Bay.
Our services aren’t the only thing we’ve been refining, we’ve also reimagined our store and expanded our retail offerings. We now stock a range of Casio watches, from entry-level to MR-G. We have great watches to sell instore, so come in and have a look!
